New Year, New Kitchen Contest Rules
1. 101 The Rose WROZ New Year, New Kitchen Giveaway is an on-line enter to win contest operated by 101 The Rose WROZ and Hall Communications, Inc., Affordable Kitchens of Lancaster, Stone World, Gallo Bath and JB Zimmerman. The contesting begins on Monday, January 11, 2010 and ends on Sunday, February 14, 2010.
2. 101 The Rose WROZ will solicit for listeners to submit a photo of their home kitchen to be considered as a qualifier for this contest. Listeners must also fill out all of the entry blanks on the contest form, found at www.roseradio.com. Blank fields to be filled out include first and last name, home address, email address, telephone number and age. Additionally all potential qualifiers must own their own home.
3. The grand prize winner will be determined by Affordable Kitchens of Lancaster, based on the photo submissions received by the contest deadline. Grand prize winner announcement will be on February 18, 2010 at 8:50 am on 101 the Rose.
4. Grand prize consists of a kitchen makeover (maximum 10x10 space), old kitchen
cabinets removed new ones installed (value $2509), granite countertop installed (value $1300), ceramic tile flooring installed (value $1943.50), Hot Point Electric Range Self Clean (value $359), Hot Point 17 cu ft Refrigerator (value $425), Hot Point Dishwasher (value $230), Brone Non-Vented Hood (value $39) and installation ($150). The participating sponsors are NOT responsible for any electric or water lines. Cosmetic upgrades, including dry walling and painting are NOT included with this grand prize.
5. The grand prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. If a contest winner is unable to accept the grand prize, the entire prize will be forfeited. In this instance 101 the Rose WROZ may, at its discretion, choose another grand prize winner from the remaining qualifiers who entered the contest by the contest deadline.
6. No purchase is necessary. Contestants must be 21 years of age or older to enter this contest. Winner must provide a valid social security number. Amounts paid under this contest will be reported to the IRS on Form 1099.
7. Employees of 101 The Rose WROZ, Hall Communications, Inc., its affiliated companies, participating sponsors and their advertising companies and promotional partners, together with the immediate family members of those so employed, are not eligible to participate and/or win.
8. Winners in connection with this contest, by accepting the winning prizes, agree to the use by 101 The Rose WROZ and Hall Communications of their names, voices and/or likenesses without additional compensation by 101 The Rose WROZ, Hall Communications, Inc. or by any of its promotional partners and sponsors.
9. All contestants agree that, by entering this contest, their contact information will be shared with Affordable Kitchens of Lancaster, Stone World, Gallo Bath and JB Zimmerman.
10. Winner is solely responsible for the payment of any taxes and/or additional costs arising from the acceptance of prizes. Winner may choose to upgrade the grand prize if so desired, at a cost to the winner. Prize upgrades should be discussed with Affordable Kitchens of Lancaster, Stone World, Gallo Bath and/or JB Zimmerman, who can provide price quotes and further assistance.
11. Winners release WLPA/WROZ/WSJW, Hall Communications, Inc., and any agent connected with this contest from any liability or loss that may be incurred as a result of this prize.
12. WROZ is not responsible for late, lost, misaddressed or misdirected mail or delayed, misdirected, uncompleted or unsuccessful phone calls or busy signals.
13. Failure to follow contest rules will result in the disqualification of the contestant. Attempts to rig the contest by any means including, but not limited to, submitting the same telephone number, home address and/or email address to the 101 The Rose WROZ database multiple times may disqualify individuals from participating in or winning prizes in connection with this contest. Attempts to win prizes in connection with this contest by any fraudulent or deceptive means will be treated as fraud and may subject the perpetrator of such fraud to prosecution under applicable state or federal statute.
14. The grand prize winner may not win another contest sponsored by 101 the Rose for a period of 6 months from the date of being announced as winner of this contest.
15. 101 The Rose WROZ and Affordable Kitchens of Lancaster are the sole judges with respect to questions arising in connection with this contest. Such judgments will be final.
16. WROZ and Hall Communications, Inc. reserve the right to modify these rules, change the prize or discontinue the contest without notice.
